100TH POST!!! anyway ive watch this short film and ive re-learnt one very important thing... film festival: green unplugged - best short film/ ppl's choice ala carte chicken its extremely touching!!! 10th June 09 (Wed) went to school to consult mrE for SS remedial and then mugged till dusk 11th June 09 (Thurs) went to school once again and studied with shengwei, XX, chelle, darren and siongli. thanks darren's mother for the ride home!!! :D 12th June 09 (Fri) SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS OUTING WAS THE BOMB!!! played cluedo and bang! which i ended up losing first in every round. -__-' 13th June 09 (Sat) 2 missionaries came to church and shared some of their experiences they went through in kenya. WESTERN KENYA the first missionary is married to a kenyan who works very closely with the church which is 2km away from where she lives. while she drives to the church located at the top of the mountain, the kenyans can run through the muddy field in just 15 minutes. whats more the PA system over there really SUCKS!!! in order for PnW to progress, they have to use a keyboard which is operated by a car battery. SOUTHERN KENYA the word 'rape' does not exist in the dictionary of the southern kenyans. it is an honour for women offer themselves men. the men there are so promiscuous that women are treated like library books to have fun with under the women dad's consent. men over there have 4-5 wives with over 10-20 children. women can be expecting at the age of 13-15. the missionary(a nurse) told us abt how she handled 2 pregnant teenagers in labour at 3am at night. with only 3 untrained assistants, and one of the mothers passing out, she really thanked the Lord that she managed to saved the 2 mothers and 2 daughters without the need of operating on the mother who passed out. 14th June 09 (Thurs) loads of pressure on me today!!! as a horrendous liar, joy & sarah wanted me to lure ale out for the surprise bday celebration. so i called ale, pretending to ask her for her french curve and i sorta gave myself away considering ale's super SHARP hearing. me: hello! can you i meet you at 2pm today around you house? ale: you mean downstairs? me: yes! WE will be coming aft hanging up, joy scolded me for being such a bad liar haha!!! XD despite all the clues ive given ale, she still didnt expect anything and weve SUCCEEDED!!! had fun surprising ale :D  .jpg) .jpg) me, sarah, joycelyn, aletheia the 4 of us were so close last year and now, we are all living separate lives. ale is now furthering her studies at NAFA, joy in sjc-tennis (becoming the nxt serena williams!!! XD) and sarah in NP. as for me, im still taking my Os in sec5 waiting for my turn to go through what they had been through. im really thankful to God for our reunion!!! :D Dearest Father in Heaven i asked that even though the 4 of us may lead separate lives now, we would be a able to keep the friendship between the 4 of us strong/stronger . pls help us put you in the centre of our relationship and help stay in contact for the years to come. :) I ask for this in Jesus's name Amen 3rd June 09 (Wed) the first day of VBS was EXTREMELY hectic!!! ran around the entire church like a lunatic cleaning two floors of the entire building. had to first ensure that all teachers have sufficient materials for their lessons and then sweep/mp the entire place after their lessons end. ate lunch in 10 mins and off to the EL seminar. EL seminar was quite useful as they gave me writing tips on how to write a philosophical discussion. :D 4th June 09 (Thurs) had to clean up some 4-year-old's vomit... enough said. anyway, i rushed to study camp as fast as i could. as i did not even pack the night before, ithrew whatever i needed inside my back and forgotten bringing my hp charger. thank God gwenn brought hers or else i wouldnt think i would survive without a handphone. went to camp, met my c'mates and studied. during the nighttime, we played a game where we were blindfolded and only had a string to guide us along. i fell like 3 times in a role and all that gamemaster(whom i still dunno up till now) laugh at me! XD after completing the game, i went disturbing other who have yet to complete and while i was poking with melanie, she release the string and grabbed hold of my shirt shouting 'WHO ARE YOU?!' which made me laugh like crazy. 5th June 09 (Fri) spending the night with my c'mates playing bridge, sleeping in the parade square, gazing at the stars while chatting will be something i nvr forget even as i look back 10 years down the road, i will always remember that night. :) 6th June 09 (Sat) HAPPY BDAY FATHER!!! :D 7th June 09 (Sun) memorable message by revW 8th June 09 (Mon) mugging day. thank God i managed to pull my performance off at piano lesson for i dint practise for quite a while phew!!! :D 9th June 09 (Today) went to swim 20 laps consecutive today woots!!! i feel so free and easy in the water like there nothing stopping me. i shall aim to swim everyday from now on. :D love the CK spring collection'09 CK spring summer'09 however, i believe that the entire red and yellow suits ruin the collection. apart from that, im REALLY CRAZY over the jackets!!! :D |
