8th Jan 10 (Fri) PROM WAS THE BOMB!!! :D had such a great time with my mates and stuff, i will let the photos speak their thousands of words...      in summary we camwhored the night through, danced to 'good girls go bad' and 'i gotta feeling' as if we were at MOS and camwhored some more as once again, i shall say that it was a BLAST!!! :D 11th Jan 10 (Mon) man, the day where the results for our Os are released. the tension in the hall, was undeniable. though we werent frightened to the point that all we could hear were the crickets, we facaded our fear through whining and hining and before you know it BAM!!! there were tears of sorrow as well as joy. there were also exclaimations of laughter and happiness while other heaved a sigh of relieve but one thing's for sure... none of us managed to compose ourselves. but im thankful with my results and even if i failed badly, i know that this is the plan God has for me so to all those whove done badly im gna share a verse with you. Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. so just know that this is the Lord's plan. i know that i may not have the right to say anything so i hope you listen to the Lord's word. He went through the same pain(or even worse) you are going through by sending Jesus to die on the cross so i hope that the verse above will be able to comfort you. :) this message is for someone whom ive known for a long while: im saying this to you so that you would learn from your mistake and most importantly, ACT and BEHAVE as a christian and not just proclaim to be one using bible verses only to your benefit. before i start saying anything i want you to know that i dont hold anything against you or trying to make a personal attack against you coz if you think of it this way, then my purpose for trying to enforce God's word would be meaningless. first of all, Romans 12:16 (NIV) Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. God CLEARLY tells us to do our very best to live in peace with EVERYONE, and you are always doing the exact opposite. which is why you are always very nice to the 'cool' kids such as russell, riaz and jeanette and you are always showing your foul attitude to whom you think as 'losers'. when ppl you dislike try talking to you, you simply give them a cold shoulder and start walking away. is this the type of behaviour God will accept? did God ever allow you to give ppl a cold shoulder? if not then why are you doing it? just b'coz you 'dont like' the person... which brings me to my second point. Luke 6:35 (NIV) But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. now Jesus tells to LOVE, love and LOVE only. Jesus did not say that we are allowed to 'dislike' let alone to hate ppl. i really cant stand the fact that you are tellin ppl that you dont like P for what he/she did to you in the past and that is absolutely against the bible for that's a sin. youve once told me that it is not easy but wait a minute... if it were that easy to love, why would God specifically tell to LOVE our enemies, let alone those we dislike. it's exactly because it is difficult to love the unlovable/those who've done wrong to us thats why we are told to do such. to end my post, i will leave you with another verse: Ephesians 4:32 (NIV) Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you i hope for the very best that you will learn from you mistake and render the fruit of spirit mentioned in galatians and i do hope that you will be able to treat other ppl in your new poly/JC/uni differently from how you treat ppl in the past 5 years so may the Lord bless you and keep you. :) YAY!!!! im so happy that its my day off tmr WOOTS!!! :D will blog more tmr... my three favourite female singers... Mariah Carey Mariah Carey - Through the Rain Mariah Carey - I want to Know what Love is 30th Dec 09 (Tues) I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!! and i really wanna thank the Lord for getting me a job before the end of this year coz he answered my prayer. :) 30th Dec 09 (Wed) it was an extremely LONG and crazy for me. went out with church'mates in the daytime to west-coast park. played with the flying fox and the spider-web... and i cant even make it to the top haha!!! flew kites, played frisbee and taboo-s'pore edition which joanne AKA ah-ma knew at the back of hand as the cards were HERS... lol!!! XD went for jeanette's BBQ party at night and met up with my classmates... boy do i miss them!!! :D 31st Dec 09 (Wed) today was my first day of work... the good news, the ppl there at funan mall are really patient with me and the ppl were really jovial and kind. the bad news, their english-literacy is a little... substandard and thus i had problems trying to understand them. however, i had a great time working with my colleagues and i felt i did not need to hide anything from these guys!!! the minute i finished dinner, i rushed off to church immediately for the watchnight service. sat with giddy and timo and celebrated the new year singing to the countdown at 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 1st Jan 10 (Today) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! went home to sleep as i was going to work at great world today. man i really dislike working there... the ppl there really have almost zero knowledge of english and working there is super tiring... cant wait to go back to funan tmr!!! :D |
