ive posted two new songs on the blog 1) David Archuleta - When you Believe 2) Kate Voegele - Kindly Unspoken the first song is really meaningful to me and i love this song because we as christians always take God for a genie in a bottle. and when weve been 'let down', he fufills our wishes in the unexpected. to someone: im dedicating this second song to you. although im acting oblivious, i know a lot and as we move on, you will be somewhere special in my heart. i will bury you deep down in my heart. the emath paper2 today was easy, yet tedious. i skipeed the entire cumalative frequency question but i thank God i managed to correct the careless mistakes ive commited. anyway God's will has been done and he will do whats best for those who love him so let me officially anounce that... EMATH EXAM IS OVER!!! :D HAPPY BDAY SARAH!!! :D hey! i studied in sch today and it TEN TIMES MORE PRODUCTIVE!!! anyway as the Os are here ive put up a new song on the blog. 1) Ana Laura - Completely hope you will enjoy this song and REMEMBER: PUT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN GOD AND HE WILL DO WHATS BEST FOR YOU!! :D 24th Oct 08 (FRIDAY- EMATH O LVL PAPER 1) it was really scary i must say. howver, when i arrived in school, i wasnt as scared as when i was at home. i kept on praying to God that i would do the paper really slowly and steadily and my class prayed together one more time before we entered into the hall so asking God that we would be able to check all the careless mistakes. thankfully, God answered my prayer. i did the paper as slowly as i could and i still had 10 mins to check my script after i completed it and that was when i managed to correct LOADS of careless mistakes. THANK LORD!!! :D 25th Oct 08 (Sat) had lunch today with my cg'mates at far east plaza, HAD A GREAT TIME!!! :D 26th Oct 08 (Sun) went for my first lesson at sunday school today and im glad that i overcome my diffidity by trying to interact. 27th Oct 08 (Today) went out with my parents today for breakfast at IMM and came back home. studied for the past 1-2 hours. i dont know why but i seem to have less confidence for this thursday's Os, im afraid that i would just have enough time to finish the paper and no time to check for the careless mistakes that i commit. but i shall do my utmost best not to worry, for worrying means not trusting God and thats wrong. ok thats all for today, i g2g now bye!!! :D 18th Oct 08 (Sat) went to church today and we did this activity where a christian hymn and a pop song was being played at the same time, at the same volume. and we were supposed to hear the 2 songs and come with a conclusion stating which song is actually louder. initially, when i hear the two songs, i could barely hear the hymn and could hear only the pop song most of the time. thus, i prayed to God, asking him to help me hear more of the hymn instaed of the song, and after a while, i could hear the hymn more frequently than the song. this activity reminds me of the times when im struggling with sin in this world. we, as the the ambassdors of God often fail and let God down by sinning. and like the two different music being played, we have difficulties choosing between what is right and was seems right. i admit that i as a christian often sin and as hard as i try, i still choose to sin by gossiping, slandering doing things that upset God. however, we must take a stand eventually, and i may say that i choose God, but who knows whether i may backslide in the future. although i still sin and have commited sins, i thank the Lord that he has given me so much mercy to start again. :) 19th Oct 08 (Sun) the day where russell and i got baptized. if you knew how nervous russell was, he told me that he legs were trembling HAHA! XD but i have to say that my heart was beating profusely, coming into the pressence of God and doing your best to trufully commit you life to him for 'the heart is deceitful' and we may not even know what our hearts are thinking. i wanna thank missYeo and mrsWong coming to our baptism. :D  me, russell, missYeo and mrsWong 20th- 22nd Oct 08 (Mon - Wed) studying the past few days! Os are starting on friday so im gna hit the books now BYE!!! :D 15th Oct 08 (Wed) boring day i say. i forgotten what happened actually. 16th Oct 08 (Thurs) missYeo was absent hence we sorta slack through some of the lessons. today, chelle, cherylL, XX and shengwei learnt bridge as we were getting bored of playing big2. we had a very enjoyable time :D. 17th Oct 08 (Today) we had a class party today and it was SUPER DUPER FUN!!! we played charades, and musical chairs. in musical chairs, the final 2 melanie and faihan were hilarious, when the music was played, melanie and faihan were putting their hands so close to chair walking around it making the whole class laugh HAHA!!! XD had a fun time today! I LOVE 4F'08!!! oh ya, russell and i are getting baptized this sunday if you want attend the service, pls go to my church website to find out how to get there. LIFE BP CHURCH WEBSITE 13th Oct 08 (Yesterday) quite a slacky day as i didnt go for the tp program and few of my other classmates joined me self-studying in the class. desmond was like singing touch my body and missYeo called him a pervert HAHA! XD spent the afternoon with jeanette, abigail, patten, daniel and jon solving a super duper difficult riddle! mother finally help me buy THE SHACK YAY!!! but then she doesnt allow me to read the book till aft exams. :( 14th Oct 08 (Today) right now using rictus' laptop. ok g2g now, back to the books later! :) been a really long day today. woke at 8.15am in the morning for breakfast and had chinese tuition at 8.30. my chinese tutor said i was improving yay!!! i feel more confident of getting my B3 in chinese. :) had church in the afternoon and went to grandma's house at night for dinner. afterwards, i had a heart-to-heart talk and a hilarious time with jordan abt our lives and she made me a camwhoring partner HAHA! XD ive finally got the lyrics for the song i wanted. 1)Jennifer Hudson- Jesus promised me a place over there i really want to thank God for such a wonderful promise he made for us and i felt that this song expresses how i feel. hope this song rejuvinates everyone. 1 John 1 : 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 9-10th Oct 08 (Yesterday/Today)spent the entire pass few days with my classmates playing big2, cheat, blackjack and a new game i learnt called pig. it has been quite fun the past few days and i can truly say that we really study hard and at the same time, play hard as a class and honestly speaking, i sorta enjoy studying emath. :D man i cant wait to go for LTF tmr and have a great time with church'mates fellowshipping and eating HAHA! XD i had 4 HOURS OF MATHEMATICS LESSON TODAY!!! can you actually believe it! my brain is abt to rot from all that math. X( english class was fun as it hyped up the monotonous atmosphere. i loved watching the youtube videos shown on the comp. ok, i needa sleep now g2g!!! 6th Oct 08 (Yesterday) today was a rather quiet day, as my class was the ONLY CLASS that is having lesson, the school was rather peaceful and the scenery was extrmely sprawling!!! :) and I THANK THE LORD THAT IVE GOT A B3 FOR MY EMATH PARER ONE!!! :D 7th Oct 08 (Today) today missYeo brought a very inspiring movie for us to watch and i was really touched by it and my favourite part the movie was when the assistant coach taught the boy to kick the ball well by using the bible scripture. Matt 7: 13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. i felt that this verse really tell me the heavy yet worthy prize of being a christian, which is to be with God in Heaven. many ppl think that christians hold on to a God to make them feel good abt themselves and want ppl to think that they are some 'holy saint'. however, we hold on to God for the beacause we want to glorify God's name and do everything sinless for him. many think that, the stronger you faith in God, the less risks you have to take. however, the exact-opposite truth is that, the stronger your faith in God, the higher the risk you have to take on being a christian as many put higher hopes, higher expectations and greater perspectives of you so when you sin, you would become more consious and the guilt in you will increase. being a christian is 10 TIMES TOUGHER than how non-christians stereotype us. however, i know that if im able to accomplished the tasks Lord gave me on this earth and be able to have patience, persistence and will-power with God's strength, i will be able to fit through the narrow and be in God' arms once again. 2nd Oct 08 (Yesterday) boring day. the shocking news was officially publicised on that day. anyway, i shall not talk abt what happened in school and move on to the period where sarah, valerieT and i studied in missYeo. it was seriously boring and my mind was filled with nothing but emath and i felt bored, then i saw sarah's super messy file and decided to organize her file and boy did it took at least half an hour to reorganize it and the pockets in her file are super clean and new which means she nvr really used them. i felt like i finally did something that was productive and it had nothing to do with emath YAY!!! however, joy and ale said that ive wasted half an hour organizing her file coz she is definitely gna mess it up... AGAIN HAHA! XD 3rd Oct 08 (Today) last day of school for the sec4 express students and i emo-ed a little. what can i say, it is really saddening that great friends like aletheia, sarah and joycelyn will be leaving real soon. although i know we will still keep in contact, im sure im gna miss them LOADS!!! oh well i still have 3F'07-4F'08-5A'09 and i will make the best out of it. Our Father in Heaven i thank you Lord for this last day of school for the sec4 expess students, i thank you Lord for a great 4 years which flew by and throughout the good and bad seasons, i thank you Lord for ale, joy and sarah who have been here by me side and throughout the friendship probs we faced, i thank you Lord that you have strengthen and still are strengthening our friendship. although they are now going their separate ways while i stay put, i pray to you Lord that our friendship will stay strong and come what may, may you help us to love one another and put you in the centre of our friendship. i thank you Lord for these 4 years that you not only bless me, but also them with. amy you continue to make ale more outspoken, joy more bubbly and sarah as lively as ever. i pray and ask this in Jesus' name.
