14th March 09 (Sat) went flagging tdy with abi, aaron and cherylL at suntec coz there was an IT fair which sells comps at super discounted prices. before that, we window-shopped around the place for an hour or so and then flagged for another hour +. the gd news is the prices have decreased rapidly. the bad news, you have to battle with the crowd for anything and EVERYTHING. jostling with the crowd was extremely time-consuming as we needed to even queue to take the escalator! X( ![]() just simply look at the crowd ![]() sercurity guards were needed to control the no of ppl walking up the escalator ![]() cherylL, abi, me and aaron 15th Mar 09 (Today) went to church today and learnt abt the reason of praying despite the knowledge of God's infinite knowledge. ive learnt the 4Ds of prayer. Direct Direct prayer is the normal prayer that God would answer the way you like it or the way you expect. Denied Denied prayer is the request which God clearly says a big NO to when your requests are either unrealistic or with sin taken place in it. Delayed Delayed prayer is the prayer which God will answer after a super DUPER DUPER long time. one stupid example from my life would be that i received my first gameboy only 2 years after i prayed so briefly abt it. Different Different prayer is the most interesting prayer of all as the bible always says 'ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you will find'. however, i always wonder when God dont seem to answer our prayers, could it be coz we are too impatient or and are just too blind to see that we fail to match the correct anwsers God has given us to all the wrong questions. ive always realized that even though God doesnt answer my prayers the way i want i want it, He still eventually manage to help me find a another path and hence, He does not only grants my request but more importantly, grants the meaning and the objective of my my requests. eventually the Lord creates this will of His to please himself and more importantly for us as well. the Lord indeed moves in mysterious ways and im amazed of the miracles he caused! :D Jeremiah 15:11 (NKJV) The LORD said: Surely it will be well with your remnant; Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with you In the time of adversity and in the time of affliction. ok im gna bed now bye!!! :D |
